I'm the creator of the Yahoo Group "Buttoned Up and Collared", which is mentioned in the first post of this thread.

The theme of the group is actually more than just buttoned collars. It's also about ENFORCING collar buttoning, even if the wearer doesn't want to be buttoned up. DB's done some wonderful composite images of ideas along these lines, and I'm working (RL) on some hidden securing mechanisms that could even be worn in public.

But some people may not like this idea, and if you're one of them, possibly best to seek another forum.
